Manny Pacquiao Versus Jeff Horn Fight is Set On April 23 in UAE?

Senator Manny Pacquiao is expecting to defend his WBO welterweight title against Australian Jeff Horn on April 23 in the United Arab Emirates, but the venue is still not fixed yet even though Pacquiao confirmed it on his twitter that it is gonna be in the Middle East.

In a blog post of Mr. Alon Calinao Dy, a boxing fan of Pacquiao. He said "Pacquiao's bout in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi will help our Filipino boxing fans to see the real fight between the two exciting boxers in the world today. This fight will garner a big support for there are many Filipinos who work in the Middle East and will definitely watch it."

Though a lot of Aussie boxing fans of Jeff Horn want the fight to happen in Australia or somewhere else, promoters in United Arab Emirates have promised that this fight is going to be the biggest hit this year as Middle East has a huge boxing audience as well.

Aside from being a global boxing icon, Pacquiao is also known as the most generous senator in the Philippines. He shared his blessings to the poor and is considered as one of the most trusted politicians today including Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.

Some Pacquiao's fans want him to quit boxing, but the eight-world champion believes that he still can do it. Aside from bringing fame and honor into the country, Pacquiao admits that he really loves the sport and this is something he wants to do to earn big money in a honest way.

Mr. Dy said, "Pacquiao should be an inspiration for everyone because he works hard every day. Despite being a successful boxer and politician, he is always a humble person. Both feet on the ground, always."

Pacquiao's adviser Canadian Michael Koncz and his promoter Bob Arum is going to finalize the actual venue in the days to come, but there is a big chance that the bout is going to happen in UAE as Pacquiao said that his next bout will be expected in this country. It always depends about the feedback of boxing supporters around the world and Arum who knows where he can get a big pay-per-view event.
