Senator Manny Pacquiao Not Afraid Of Senator De Lima's Warning To Kerwin Espinosa
By Alon Calinao Dy: Senator Manny Pacquiao continues to assist alleged drug lord Kerwin Eapinosa despite Senator Leila De Lima's warning that he might end up like his father's fate.
Pacquiao would not mind endangering himself if it is good for the Filipinos and for the country as the authorities are expecting the star witness Espinosa to reveal those names who are involved in the illegal drug trade.
In a blog post of Mr. Alon Calinao Dy, he said "Sen. Pacquiao wants to help the government to eliminate the problem of illegal drugs that is killing the future of innocent children. I admire his lots of courage to help the Filipinos and the country."
Senator De Lima, on the other hand, believes that the government might use Kerwin Espinosa as a witness to involve her as one of the protectors of illegal drugs.
It is believed that Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr., already named 200 public officials as coddlers of his son's illegal drug operation before he was killed in an alleged "firefight" with policemen inside his detention cell.
Among those people the older Espinosa listed was the former Justice Secretary Leila De Lima and other high-ranking government officials. DOJ Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre is expecting Kerwin to solidify the testimony of his father.
Aside from Senator Pacquiao, Aguirre also helped Kerwin to be placed under the Witness Protection Program (WPP), depending on Kerwin's testimony at the police headquaters at Camp Crame in Quezon City.
Director General Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa who attended the boxing match between Pacquaio and Vargas in Las Vegas, USA, also ensured that he would ensure the safety of the younger Espinosa for as long as he would cooperate with them.
Pacquiao is determined that his presence would help the younger Espinosa to name those people who are into the narcotics trade. He also believes that the government is doing the best to end the country's problem of illegal drugs.
