Photos of Mar, PNoy, And Cohorts Hold A Rally Against Hero's Burial For Marcos

By Alon Calinao Dy: A few influencial groups voiced their sentiments that the late President Ferdinand Marcos do not deserve to be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani due to martial law abuses committed when he was still a president.

Photos of Mar and PNoy circulated all over social media who have hundreds of anti-Marcos advocates to stage a protest rally against the planned burial of the late dictator at the heroes’ cemetery.

Sen. Bam Aquino said, "kung hindi natin naiintindihan o nirerespeto ang ating kasaysayan, we are bound to commit the same mistakes."

Mar Roxas also added by saying, "at the rally today opposing Marcos' burial sa Libingan. Malinaw naman kung ano at sino ang bayani."

Perhaps, Filipinos have heard this statement many times about the common phrase "forgive and forget." Famous Gandhi once said, "the weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong."

Mr. Alon Calinao Dy wrote on his blog saying, "though it takes more time to forgive and heal, inner peace in ourselves can never be achieved if the burden is too heavy to carry or if some Filipinos still dwell on the pain caused by others."

Life is not fair as other people would say. Perhaps, we have hurt so many times that forgiveness is not an option. So many trials are coming along to one's person life, but if Filipinos do not learn these important lessons and do not try to move forward, these people are trapped in a jail cell of bitterness and in a world full of hatred.
