Do You Have A Convincing Power?

By Alon Calinao Dy: The power of persuasion is real. It is believed that every human being has a convincing force. Others think they are born to have it to make people say "yes" for their demands.

In today's society, the act of convincing power is not being talked about by a lot of people. I tell you what, it is true and it can touch on the lives of many people even though nobody will believe that it exists.

Men who usually have the skills of persuasion can be potentially dangerous for women, and vice versa. The reason why I said this because I have personally gone through it. I don't want to sound boastful, but I speak the truth.

When was the last time you court your crush? The act of courtship needs the ability of persuasion in order to win the heart of that special someone. That's why the one who has it can be potentially dangerous for the same and opposite sex if it is being used for sexual pleasure alone.

Did you know that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the father of African-American Civil Rights Movements, is best known to use persuasive techniques in non-violent methods to attain civil rights for African-Americans?

Did you know that Julius Caesar would not be a successful leader if he had no power of persuasion? He successfully united and influence the minds of his people. Just like Shakespeare, he applied the power of persuasive speaking to shape the opinions of the people.

Lastly, did you recognize the name Adolf Hitler, who misused his power of persuasion to cause World War II? Hitler once said, “everything I have accomplished I owe to persuasion.” I don't think he could do it alone without his innate talent.
