A Drug Dealer Can Be A Licensed Doctor

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte said that he never imagined the problem of narcotics in the Philippines is so rampant when he became the highest elected government official. He thought he could solve the drug problem for 3 to 6 months, but he was wrong.

A licensed doctor and a government official were arrested last October 20 for selling illegal drugs. Imagine, a physician, who studied for several years and supposedly the one who would advice his patients not to use narcotics, is the supplier of " 9 grams shabu, 32 capsules and 17 tablets of ecstasy" according to the operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

In a blog post of Mr. Alon Calinao Dy, he said, "President Duterte had warned these illegal drug suppliers and users not to destroy his city, his country and his people. Yet, these drug dealers, who ruined the lives of so many innocent people, do not bother to perform their criminal activities. The outcome is either jail or death."

Illegal drugs must stop now! Once a person who is addicted to it, as what the president said over and over again, this drug user will never be the same anymore as this person's brain can shrink like a melted ice with drug use. The statement of the president was supported by NIDA scientists who said that doing drugs even for the first time can change how people's brain looks and works.

Preventing illegal drugs, criminality and corruption in our country is everyone's business. If Filipinos want to make Philippines a better and safe place for everyone, let us support the government and together we stand and fight for what is right for our country and its people.
