Leni Robredo To Duterte Supporters: I Will Not Resign

Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo will not resign as a public servant even if many people call her to quit.

Robredo, De Lima and Trillanes are allegedly behind the impeachment of President Rodrigo Duterte.

At the start, Robredo said, “from the very beginning, the president and I had major differences in principles and values.”

In a blog post of Mr. Alon Calinao Dy, he said "President Duterte got the support of a majority of Filipinos, the opposition could not do anything about it. If they don't want the government, then they are free to resign. I think Filipinos will be happy about it."

Erwin Tulfo, a known TV and Radio host, agreed that the President is doing everything to make the Philippines a better country for everyone, but Duterte's critics are planning to destabilize the administration.

Robredo, De Lima and Trillanes had expressed concern over rising extrajudicial killings related to Duterte’s war against drugs and strongly opposed the burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Heroes’ Graveyard, which Duterte endorsed, but many people believe that they are using these reasons to impeach Duterte for their personal interests.
