According to the recent report, De lima is facing serious charges against her involvement to illegal drug trade inside the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City.
Since the appearance of high-profile inmates like Herbert Colangco and Rodolfo Magleo that would link the lady senator, Sen. Panfilo Lacson has made a strong statement that came up with a valid evaluation that De Lima might be involved in illegal drug trade.
It has come to the knowledge of a majority of Filipinos that Sen. De Lima denied such allegations that she is involved in drug trade when she was still a justice secretary during Aquino administration.
Despite a number of invitations of concerned Filipinos that De Lima should resign from her office, she remained strong knowing that CBCP and Human Rights groups remain loyal supporters in her fight for the truth.
However, CBCP and Human Rights advocates had been labeled as "cuddlers and protectors" of criminals and one of the reasons why law enforcers were afraid to perform their job properly because of the fear of retaliation of these two organizations according to some reports.
