Philippine President Duterte And Indonesian President Widodo Join Together Against Illegal Drugs

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Indonesian President Joko Widodo

By Alon Calinao Dy: Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and Indonesian Joko Widodo have come together against illegal drugs in their respective countries as it continues to destroy people's lives.

Duterte was criticized by CBCP and Human Rights advocates for being a strong leader who declaired war on drugs, saying that drug pushers and drug lords have nowhere to hide.

President Duterte respected President Widodo's decision about the execution of Mary Jane Veloso's case when she was caught with heroin in Indonesia a few years ago.

Both Duterte and Widodo have in common against the battle of prohibited drugs. Both leaders understood that their fight is a hard fight, and criminals should be afraid to their current laws.

Despite the good intentions of these world leaders, many critics labeled them as one of the fiercest presidents today. However, many Filipinos and Indonesians love and support their respective presidents.
