Watch Senator Tito Sotto Slams Senator De Lima and Edgar Matobato on War Against Illegal Drugs

By Alon Calinao Dy: Senator Tito Sotto wanted witness Edgar Matobato to reveal the people involved behind his sudden apearance at the Senate hearing and the senator got a feeling that somebody in the office brought the witness to have his testimony about extrajudicial killings and summary executions against illegal drugs in the Philippines.

Senator Sotto asked General Dela Rosa about a number of people who were killed and arrested since the government started the Oplan Tokhang on July 1 against drug pushers and users.

The number was shocking since law enforcement made several arrests of over 16 thousands drug users and more than a thousand of drug addicts who got killed in the legit PNP operations.

Sotto questioned De Lima and other senators why they only focused on the number of drug pushers that were killed as policemen were just doing their job to eliminate the war on illegal drugs and bad elements who armed themselves with lethal weapons in the country.

Senators Sotto, Pacquiao and Cayetano wanted to bring back the death penalty in the country. But sad to say, not everyone agreed to their decision. Among them are Senators Antonio Trillanes IV, Leila De Lima and other senators from the opposition party.
